Alaska Army National Guard infantrymen assigned to A Company, 1st Battalion, 297th Infantry Regiment, shield themselves from the rotor wash of a departing AKARNG UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter in the Herbert Glacier riverbed near Juneau, Alaska, Jan. 24, 2025. The infantrymen conducted an air movement to their training area and bivouacked there overnight to hone their soldiering skills while operating in a cold and wet environment.
