USS Tulsa (LCS 16) makes its way to Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division in California recently to undergo a Combat Systems Assessment Team event. Although the Independence-variant littoral combat ship approached slowly through the coastal waters, it has a unique propulsion system that enables it to cruise up to 40 knots and sprint up to 47 knots.
