    A U.S. Soldier assigned to Task Force Sentinel, demonstrates the observation capabilities of the UH-72A Lakota mission equipment package (MEP) to Lt. Gen. Allan M. Pepin, the commander of U.S. Army North, at Dona Ana County International Airport, New Mexico, Feb. 13, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
