U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Allan M. Pepin, the commander of U.S. Army North, recognizes Soldiers assigned to Task Force Sentinel, with a coin of excellence at Dona Ana County International Airport, New Mexico, Feb. 13, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
