U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Krisher, a KC-135 Stratotanker boom operator assigned to the 72nd Air Refueling Squadron, Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base, Indiana, maintains contact with a U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 13th Fighter Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan, while conducting an aerial refuel over the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, Feb. 17, 2025, as part of exercise Cope North 2025. The KC-135 provides the core aerial refueling capability for the U.S. Air Force and has performed this role for over 50 years.
