U.S. Air Force Capt. Ethan Dunlap, an F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot with the 13th Fighter Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan, flies above the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of responsibility, Feb. 17, 2025, while receiving fuel from a U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker assigned to the 72nd Air Refueling Squadron, Grissom Joint Air Reserve Base, Indiana as a part of Cope North 2025. The F-16 is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft, having proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack for over 40 years. The F-16 remains a prominent platform among multiple allies and partner nations, and is used to ensure a free and open Indo-Pacific. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Caleb Roland)
