The GAU-22/A is a 4-barrel gun capable of holding up to 220 25 mm rounds that each have about the explosive force of a grenade. CN25 provided the opportunity for MAG-12 squadrons to participate in realistic combat training with the Royal Australian Air Force, Japan Air Self-Defense Force, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Navy to ensure the success of combined air and space operations.
