Staff Sgt. Jessie D. Nieves, the platoon sergeant for second platoon, Military Police Company, 1st Supply Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, accepts his certificate of reenlistment as he shakes hands with Brig. Gen. Robert R. Ruark, 1st MLG Commanding General during the opening of the new Career Retention Specialist facility. The building is designed to resemble Tun Tavern, the original enlistment location for Marines around during the birth of the Corps. Now present-day Marines will be able to live a little bit of history and take part in the renewal of one of the Corps' oldest milestones.
