Staff Sgt. Jessie D. Nieves, the platoon sergeant for second platoon, Military Police Company, 1st Supply Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, shakes hands with Brig. Gen. Robert R. Ruark, Commanding General 1st MLG, after his extension of another five years of service in the Corps. Nieves was the first Marine to reenlist at the new career retention specialist facility which was constructed to resemble Tun Tavern, the original recruiting station that once stood in Philadelphia.
