U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Benjamin Dryke, a motor vehicle operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, explains the functions of a Joint Light Tactical Vehicle to U.S. Army Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 38th Field Artillery Regiment, during a vehicle cross-training event during exercise Freedom Banner 25 at U.S. Army Garrison Casey, South Korea, Feb. 25, 2025. This training was conducted to familiarize both units with the unique equipment each force utilizes, providing mutual understanding and enhancing cohesion between the Marine and Army units for future joint operational effectiveness. Freedom Banner 25 is a Maritime Prepositioning Force exercise where 3rd MLG offloads equipment and provides support to III Marine Expeditionary Force units training throughout South Korea, testing and validating 3rd MLG’s ability to conduct integrated logistics operations in a complex and contested environment.
