ISHIGAKI, Japan (Feb. 26, 2025) Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), man the rails as the ship arrives in Ishigaki, Japan, Feb. 26. San Diego, part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
