Kieran Place, a NATO winter instructor assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Brigade, briefs Soldiers on cold weather survival and terrain recognition during Exercise Joint Viking 25 in Setermoen, Norway, on Feb. 27, 2025. The training provided U.S. Soldiers with valuable knowledge in conducting operations effectively in arctic conditions. Exercise Joint Viking 25 aims to enhance the U.S. Army's ability to work alongside Arctic allies and respond swiftly to crises.
