On February 20th, 2025, AFRICOM J4 Logistics team conducted a Site Visit to Ivorian Naval Shipyard to view current methods to maintain, repair, and sustain the Ivorian ship and vehicle fleets. This information will be used to inform AFRICOM Partner Gap Assessment and Prioritization process to develop U.S. support programming. U.S. Africa Command is one of seven U.S. Department of Defense geographic combatant commands. The command is responsible for all U.S. military operations, exercises, and security cooperation, and conducts crisis response on the African continent to advance U.S. interests and promote regional security, stability, and prosperity.
