Maintenance workers at Shenango River Lake, managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pittsburgh District, have added insulation and replaced windows while remodeling campground bathrooms and shower facilities in preparation for the upcoming recreation season in Transfer, Pennsylvania, Feb. 21, 2025.
Maintenance workers and park rangers at Shenango work to improve the lake’s facilities and campgrounds year-round, even during the winter months, to prepare for the surging visitors and camping reservations expected during the spring and summer months.
