SUBIC BAY, Philippines (Jan. 28, 2025) Philippine Navy Cmdr. Jothanjay Pasaol, Philippine Naval Sea Systems Command, reviews plans, with Mr. Patrick McDermott, P. E., Surface Warfare Enterprise Maintenance Program Manager of Commander, Pacific Fleet N43 in support of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), while in port Subic Bay, Jan. 28. Benfold is forward-deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
