The U.S. Army Reserve’s 108th Training Command (IET) Headquarters shows off their Griffon Patch Pride in a camaraderie team photo. The unit’s nickname “Golden Griffons” was chosen after World War II because the griffon reflected the Division’s initial capabilities as an Airborne Division to strike from both the air and the ground. Today the Griffon is a symbol of guardian protection that embodies the spirit of excellence exhibited by Army Reserve Drill Sergeants who are a Pillar of Training and Readiness within the Total Army Ecosystem. The unit posed immediately following their Battle Assembly in Charlotte, NC, Mar 10, 2025.
