U.S. Air Force Airmen 1st Class Keve Ziegler and Nicholas Turchi, 148th Fighter Wing Communications Squadron, wait for confirmation of radio transmission from the HAM radio operator at a remote road crossing outside Grand Marais, Minnesota, March 3, 2025. The road crossing was staffed by personnel from the 148th Fighter Wing Communications Squadron during a winter training exercise which coincided with the 2025 Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon.
