U.S. Army soldiers from Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 41st Field Artillery Regiment, 41st Field Artillery Brigade walk towards M109A7 Paladin self-propelled howitzers during the U.S. Table VI certifications and German live-fire exercise at Pabrade Training Area, Lithuania, Mar. 06, 2025. In order to complete the pre-planning for the exercise, the 1-41st Field Artillery had to validate equipment, conduct certifications for evaluators, and forecast and allocate ammunition. During the execution phase, howitzer sections conducted the exercise at the firing-point while Fire Directional crews operated stress systems. In order to begin live-fire exercises, all crews and sections had to complete and certify in a series of artillery tables, and become qualified by leadership teams. V Corps leaders and international partners determine where best to align forces by rigorous evaluation of the operational environment and analysis of regional threats. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt.
