German Col. Mohamed Nasri, Bundeswehrkommando, presents Staff Sgt. Connor Verploegh the Gold Schützenschnur Badge, or the German Armed Forces Badge for Weapons Proficiency. Col. Nasri and his team administered and graded the competitors during the Schützenschnur portion of the competition. 18 Soldiers from the competition earned their Schützenschnur badges - seven earned gold, two earned silver and nine earned the bronze badges.
Soldiers from the U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence participated in the 2025 Best of the Best competition to earn the titles of Officer, Noncommisssioned Officer and Soldier of the Year, as well as a place on the MEDCoE Best Squad, March 9-11, 2025, on Joint Base San Antonio, Texas.
