Sgt. Maj. Adam Yakubsin, the battalion sergeant major for 1st Intelligence Battalion, from Gainesville, Fla., winds up to throw a pitch during his team’s first regular season softball game at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 19. The softball games are part of a competition known as the Commanding General’s Cup. The cup has 23 events and allows Marines an opportunity to develop unit cohesion through competition outside of the work area.
