Trainees with the Arizona Army National Guard’s Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) conduct training and conditioning drills at Papago Park Military Reservation in Phoenix on March 15, 2025. The RSP is designed to prepare future soldiers for success by instilling the discipline, physical readiness, and fundamental skills necessary to excel in basic training and their military careers. All participating trainees are enlisted in the Arizona Army National Guard and are at various stages of their training progression, with some awaiting departure for basic training, while others have completed Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and are preparing to transition to their assigned units. Meeting monthly, the RSP provides structured training that reinforces Army values, physical conditioning, and soldier skills, ensuring each trainee is set up for success in their future service.
