An F-18 Hornet aircraft from the Continental U.S. and Canadian North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Regions, respectively, intercepted aircraft during air-defense Operation NOBLE DEFENDER, March 17, 2025. NORAD conducts sustained, dispersed operations across the North American continent, through one or all NORAD regions (Alaska, Canada, and the Continental U.S.). Strategic bomber missions enhance the readiness and training necessary to respond to any potential crisis or challenge around the globe.
