Naval Station Guantanamo Bay hosted a visit from a congressional delegation, led by Rep. Trent Kelly (R-MS) that included members of HASC and other key committees.
Capt. Stephen provided a brief about the base and led a tour of the installation with Command Master Chief, Kenneth Nixon.

The group got a firsthand look at facilities and learned why Naval Station Guantanamo Bay's mission as a critical operational and logistics hub is strategically important for maritime security, humanitarian assistance and joint operations in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility.
