FORT JOHNSON, La. — Adrienne Webster, spouse of Spc. Chester A. Kowalski II, 2nd Battalion, 30th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, receives handmade baby burp cloths from Suzanne Lay, a 12th-grader from France, March 27 at Bayne-Jones Army Community Hospital. Webster, holding her newborn daughter Arabella, was the first recipient of the donated items, crafted and delivered by participants in the International Student Exchange (ISE) Program. The group, all Leesville High School students staying with active-duty military families assigned to the Joint Readiness Training Center and Fort Johnson, visited the Labor, Delivery and Postpartum Ward to support new parents and give back to their host community.
