The 11-ship sortie comprised C-130H aircraft from the 139th Airlift Wing, Missouri Air National Guard, 182nd Airlift Wing, Illinois Air National Guard, 133rd Airlift Wing, Minnesota Air National Guard, and the 934th Airlift Wing. The training mission was planned, lead, and executed by six students of the C-130H Weapons Instructor Course, located at Rosecrans Air National Guard Base, Missouri, which trains future leaders to be experts in tactical airlift while also learning the art of integrated battle-space dominance.
