CORONADO, Ca. (Apr. 4, 2025) - Sailors assigned to Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet listen to a presentation via conference call from author Carole E. Avriett and retired Rear Adm. Cedric Pringle about the history of the Wickes-class destroyer USS Gregory (DD 82/APD 3). During the presentation, Sailors learned about Gregory's crew's heroic actions during World War II and the importance of maintaining a warfighting readiness mindset.
