CORONADO, Ca. (Apr. 4, 2025) - Capt. John Steely, assigned to Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNSP), asks a question via conference call to author Carole E. Avriett and retired Rear Adm. Cedric Pringle following a presentation about the history of the Wickes-class destroyer USS Gregory (DD 82/APD 3). During the presentation, CNSP Sailors learned about Gregory's crew's heroic actions during World War II and the importance of maintaining a warfighting readiness mindset.
