A U.S. Air Force client systems technician from the 48th Intelligence Support Squadron places a hard disk drive (HDD) from a formerly Secret Internet Protocol Router Network enabled computer into a secure bag so the HDD can be sent for destruction in accordance with operations security principles at Beale Air Force Base, California, March 21, 2025. The 48th ISS provides in-garrison and deployed communications and logistics maintenance for the Distributed Ground Station-2 and also ensures multi-source intelligence from the U-2 Dragon Lady, MQ-1 Predator, General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper, and RQ-4 Global Hawk aircraft is exploited in real-time and sent to combatant commanders and warfighting forces.
