U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, listen to Staff Sgt. Matthew Sablan, a motor transport operations chief also with MWSS-171 explain Humvee egress steps during a class at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, April 21, 2025. The HEAT exposes service members to the disorientation and physical strain that occurs during a tactical vehicle rollover, so that in the event one occurs they are prepared to navigate the situation. MWSS-171 deployed to South Korea to improve readiness in aviation ground support operations for Marine, joint, and allied forces on the Korean peninsula. Sablam is a native of Hawaii.
