Members of the Atlanta USO welcome Spc. Richard Maliniak, a Ft. Campbell, Ky., soldier attached to the 3rd Infantry Division, at Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, April 1, 2013. Maliniak is currently deployed to Afghanistan at Forward Operating Base Rasab with the 510th Military Working Dog Detachment and was coming home for R&R. He was aboard the military's last charted flight out of the Central Command area of operations as the R&R leave program shifts to individual tickets supplied to troops which will save the Department of Defense money and the service members and their families time.
