Maribel Ortega de Pacheco, and Jessy Clarehout, both brigade level executive officers and action officers, and Sgt. 1st Class Jennifer Homan, state partnership program noncommissioned officer in-charge, speaks with Sgt. 1st Class Brian Miller, logistics noncommissioned officer in-charge, Oregon National Guard’s Active Guard Reserve Program, who has augmented the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency as a recovery noncommissioned officer in-charge, during recovery operations in Vietnam, April 12, 2025. Ortega de Pacheco, Claerhout, and Homan visited the Vietnam War recovery site to observe two of their soldiers assist in conducting operations. The relationships between the Vietnamese officials, DPAA Detachment 2 Vietnam and the recovery team continues to be strengthened through their partnerships as DPAA works to provide the fullest possible accounting for U.S. missing personnel to their families and the nation.
