Pasi Välimäki and others render honors at the memorial marker of Medal of Honor Recipient U.S. Navy Seaman John Eglit in Memorial Section MI at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia, Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Eglit was born in Finland and earned his Medal of Honor when serving on board the USS Nashville during the operation of cutting the cable leading from Cienfuegos, Cuba on May 11, 1898.
