Retired Staff Sgt. John P. Jones, a double amputee, speaks about his experiences in Iraq to the Metroplex Marines Feb. 7, 2013, in Carrollton, Texas. Jones, who lost his legs to a mine blast, now works for the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation helping sons and daughters of Marines and Sailors, especially those wounded in combat like himself.
