Second Lt. Steve Holden (rear), of Sacramento, Calif., stands with an Iraqi army soldier atop an IA T-62 tank near the forward operating base after a combined security mission in a local neighborhood, May 14. Holden, who leads a platoon that provides security for Lt. Col. D. Scott McKean, his battalion commander, thanked the Iraqi tanker for his support. After the mission, the platoon ate lunch with the Iraqis and discussed issues and the progress of their training. Holden is assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, and attached to 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
