Pfc. Erika Serrano, a native of Dearborn Heights, Mich., receives Army direct ordering replacement boots from the Company F supply room, May 15. ADO issue is a program used to replace damaged clothing and gear to ensure Soldiers in theater not only have serviceable protective gear but also maintain a Soldierly appearance. Serrano is the only female track mechanic in the maintenance platoon and has no problem turning wrenches with the section's most seasoned mechanics. She is assigned to Forward Support Company, 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, and attached to 4th Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad.
