An CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 266 (Reinforced), 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit takes off from the flight deck of the USS San Antonio (LPD 17) to conduct helicopter support team training with 500 gallon water bladders March 12, 2013. The MEU is currently deployed as part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group to the 5th Fleet area of operation. The MEU operates continuously across the globe, providing the president and unified combatant commanders with a forward-deployed, sea-based quick reaction force.
