Patriots Hockey defenseman, Jason Linley, defends a shot during a game against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department team at the Staples Center here, April 18, 2013. Linley, a former Marine captain, played the Sheriff Stars as part of a fundraiser supporting the Semper Fi Fund. Patriots Hockey raised money for wounded Marines and sailors by selling t-shirts, jerseys and other Patriots Hockey gear at the Staples Center that evening. The team is dedicated to serving the military community by raising funds and awareness for different nonprofit organizations.
