Patriots Hockey assistant captain, Jeremy Pilachowski, skates toward the offensive zone during a game against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at the Staples Center here, April 18, 2013. Pilachowski, an active duty Marine infantry captain and native of Chicago, is one of the founders of the team and has helped organize many fundraising events. Patriots Hockey raised money for the Semper Fi Fund by selling t-shirts, jerseys and other Patriots Hockey gear at the Staples Center that evening. The team is dedicated to serving the military community by raising funds and awareness for different nonprofit organizations.
