Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 14 Sailors prepare an SH-60F Seahawk for takeoff from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. Carrier Air Wing 5 is doing carrier qualifications before their transfer to the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington later this summer. The Kitty Hawk is returning to the United States for decommissioning after 47 years of service, 10 of which have been in Japan.
