    Sergeant Andrew McClure, an Armored Vehicle-Launched Bridge vehicle commander serving with 1st Combat Engineer Battalion and a native of Boise, Idaho, and Cpl. Phillip Hopper, an AVLB operator and a native of Memphis, Tenn., demonstrate the vehicles bridging capabilities here, May 16, 2013. Marines used the vehicles during combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, helping Marines cross over water and dry obstacles.
