Spiese, former deputy commanding general of I Marine Expeditionary Force and acting grand marshal of the 54th Annual Armed Forces Day Celebration and Parade, swears in more than 500 future service members at Torrance, Calif., May 18. The Torrance Parade is the nation’s longest running military parade sponsored by any city.
