Felix Lopez, Joint Task Force Civil Support mobility officer, moves a box of deployable gear task during the set up of the joint operation center upon the units arrival to Exercise Sudden Response here May 21. Sudden Response 13 is a four day command post exercise that tests the movement and capability of JTF-CS in terms of equipment and personnel during the initial phase of a CBRN incident. JTF-CS provides command and control for Department of Defense CBRN response forces to assist local, state, federal and tribal partners in saving lives, preventing further injury and enabling community recovery.
