Major Thomas "Johnny" Short delivers a brief on the role of an air officer at the first ever Polish Air-Ground Integration conference, held at the Polish Armed Forces Artillery and Weapons Training Center in Torun, Poland, May 21-23. Poland, with direct support from Marine Forces Europe and Marine Corps Security Group, hosted the regional conference in a concerted effort to improve close air support, joint terminal attack control, and fires integration skills between the partner nations involved. Short is the air officer instructor and Marine Aviation Weapons Training Squadron 1 out of MCAS Yuma, Ariz.
