Sergeant David Branch, an airframe mechanic with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response and Hickory, N.C. native, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal aboard Moron Air Base, Spain, May 11, for coordinating aircraft maintenance needs prior to the arrival of the task force’s aircraft on Moron Air Base, enabling the six MV-22 Osprey and two KC-130J to reach a state of readiness ahead of schedule.
