Family members of Master Sergeant Scott Pruitt observe a portrait that was hung and deticated in his honor during a memorial cermony aboard Camp Johnson N.C., May 31,2013. In 2012 Master Sergeant Pruitt deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Nimroz Province. Master Sergeant Pruitt was killed in action by enemy fire when a roadside improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle on April 28, 2012. The memorial ceremony was held to honor Master Sergeant Pruitt for his many contributions as a lead instructor and curriculum developer for Financial Management School, Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools.
