Davis, an Odessa, Texas, native, is preparing for deployment with the 490th Signal Company (Tactical Installation and Networking - Enhanced) to Afghanistan later this year. The 490th SC is located in Blacklick, Ohio, and part of the 359th Theater Tactical Signal Brigade.
