A member of an Afghan and coalition security force provides security during an operation in Gardez district, Paktiya province, Afghanistan, March 30, 2013. The operation resulted in the arrest of a Taliban leader who planned and executed multiple attacks throughout Gardez district. He directed his subordinates to engage in assassinations and was a key player in weapons facilitation operations in the local area.
