A member of an Afghan and coalition security force provides cover for colleagues during an operation in Gardez district, Paktiya province, Afghanistan, March 30, 2013. The operation resulted in the arrest of a Taliban leader who planned and executed multiple attacks throughout Gardez district. He directed his subordinates to engage in assassinations and was a key player in weapons facilitation operations in the local area.
