Maj. James Pelland, team lead for Marine Corps Systems Command’s Individual Armor Team, wears a prototype Modular Scalable Vest, the next generation body armor for the Marine Corps. The MSV will combine attributes from the two most recently fielded protective vests and is being developed by the armor team.
