Soldiers of the 7th Infantry Division conduct Sexual Harassment andAssault Response and Prevention training on Joint Base Lewis-McChord as part of SHARP Stand Up Day, June 18. Maj. Gen. Stephen R. Lanza, 7th ID commanding general, is leading seven brigades of the division, more than 20,000 soldiers, with engaged leadership and a culture of awareness. "When you have sexual assault in the military, it breaks down the fabric of trust that's in our organization. The same trust that we have in combat in terms of how we take care of our soldiers, the protection that we want to give them, is the same as what we need to have when we return to home station. What we're seeing right now is a breakdown of that trust," Lanza said.
